Featuring a hooded bead front sight and a the original Lyman 57 E sight mounted on the left rear of the grooved receiver. The rear sight dovetail slot has a filler block installed. Standard barrel markings with "WINCHESTER / ---TRADE MARK---" on the left front of the receiver following the two line Winchester address and model and caliber marks. The two Winchester proofs are on the left side of the receiver and breech end of the barrel. One piece checkered American black walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels, serrated steel buttplate and a Winchester marked grip cap. Winchester discontinued this model in 1958.

Excellent plus with 99.8% of the bright original blue finish remaining and only minor handling marks overall. The receiver sight has a few surface scratches but is otherwise excellent. The magazine is missing. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering and only a few light pressure dents and handling marks.
