Extravagantly carved straight grip stock with images of bull elk surrounded by floral carvings on both sides and a buffalo skull with the initials "CMR" on the left side. The forearm is just as extravagant with the phrase, "THE EXALTED RULER" surrounded by floral carving on the right side, and "1864- CHARLES M. RUSSEL-1926" on the left.
