Description:

1) The first satin ribbon (aka a Stevengraph) measures 4 3/4" by 3 1/2 and has an embroidered black and white image of Admiral Dewey with leaves, holly, and a flag underneath. 2) The second satin ribbon (aka a Stevengraph) measures 8 3/4" by 3 1/2" and has an embroidered image of Admiral Dewey with leaves, and holly, and an U.S. flag underneath and under that is an image of the Maine. The ribbon also has writing that says "IN HONOR OF ADMIRAL DEWEY". 3) The last satin ribbon measures 7"by 2 1/2" and has an image of an U.S. Flag and a ship with a poem and motto at the bottom. The motto reads "To Hell with Spain! Remember the Maine." 4) The pillow measures approximately 19" square. The underlying theme is “FREE CUBA”. What a display piece! Two central female figures believed to be Liberty and Columbia, rampant eagle on national shield in lower right corner. Top right corner draped with US flag. Women gaze at draped Cuban flag. Roses at the feet of the ladies. Pastoral scene in background. Coppery brown fabric on rear.

Rating Definition:

All of the three ribbons are in very good condition with only a little discoloration of the fabric. The only fraying is along the cut edges. The pillow is in very good condition with minimal discoloration. There is some fading on the backside of the pillow.
