Description:

1) The bullet humidor measures 8 1/4" by 4 1/4" and is almost identical to the famed Dewey Bullet Lantern. The humidor is gold plated metal with two copper plated bands in the middle. On the shell case are the initials “JJOB”. The tip of the bullet is silver. 2) The group of textiles includes ten pieces. There is a matching set of napkins with an embroidered image of the U.S. Battleship Maine, a white lace edged handkerchief with U.S. shields in the four corners, five silk handkerchiefs with various images representing the Navy and labeled "Halifax, St. Kitts, and St. Thomas", and two have "Greetings from Cuba" with an image of the U.S.S. Olympia. There is also a silk handkerchief with an image of the "U.S. Flag-Ship New York. The final textile is a piece of denim with "REMEMBER THE MAINE" and an image of the ship embroidered in white. 3) The square glass paperweight measures 3 1/8" square and has a photograph of Admiral Dewey in the center. 4) The circular glass paperweight with stand measures 4" diameter and has an insert with the photographic images of Admiral Dewey, Admiral W.T. Sampson, Lieut. Hobson, Admiral Schley and President McKinley in the center.

Rating Definition:

All of the items are in good condition with minimal wear. 1) There is some plating missing from the shell and some tarnishing. 2) Some of the textiles have water stains and discoloration. 4) The multi-image paperweight is discolored and water stained and the metal stand is rusting.
