Description:

1) The blanket measures approximately 74" length by 58" width and is a light coffee brown color with a darker brown stripe on each end. The blanket has hand-sewn selvedge edges and in the center there are 6" tall letters 'NC'. The letters are formed by yarn stitching. 2) The bayonet is angular and is for the .45-70 Trapdoor Springfield and has a 'NC' on the scabbard. The 'NC' is in raised letters on a brass disc at the hinge of the belt frog. The bayonet measures 21 1/2" length.

Rating Definition:

1) The blanket is in very good condition with minor staining. The edge of the blanket does have some fraying. 2) The bayonet is in fair condition with some rust on the blade. The leather is in good shape with no serious cracking.
