Description:

Lot of Spanish-American War relics that includes: Two U.S. military regulation steel cups with "U.S" stamped on the loop handles. One cup is tied with a red, white and blue bow on the handle with a tag that reads in script, "Camp Alger Va. / Co. B. 3rd Regt. Ny.V.I. / George M. Carey". Good with moderate surface rust. The other cup has a tag that reads in script, "Coffee Cup / used in / Cuba". Very good with a hairline crack in the base and some light surface rust. One folding frying pan with "US" and "ROCK ISLAND" marked handle. With a tag that reads in script, "Folding / Frying Pan Used in Cuba in 1898". Good with moderate surface rust. Two U.S. naval artillery rounds: one is Winchester marked and the other is "W.N.Y. / E.C.P. W.MC.D." marked. Both are very good with slight handling marks. Both are inert. One khaki canvas haversack with large "U.S." on the front, along with crossed rifles with the number 9 and "9th INF. No 4". The inside flap is marked "WATERVLIET ARSENAL". It has a tag that is partially illegible. Fair with a large tear on the back and moderately solid. The stitching is tight. One 4-5/8x 6-5/8 inch photograph with U.S. soldier and sweetheart attached to a 8x10 inch paper backing. Very good with some minor wear on the backing. The photograph is slightly wrinkled. One 37x59 inch Cuban flag with snap hooks. The hanging edge is marked with "OCV / EOY" and a script "Griswold". Poor with moderate fabric loss near the hanging edge and several small to large holes overall.
