The standard WWII fighting knife used throughout the war, with the early style "U.S. M3 - UTICA" makers mark down the right side of the blade. Cross guard is bent for the thumb and properly unmarked, with a serrated leather washer grip and ordnance bomb-marked grip cap. With a brown leather US M6 sheath, marked "U.S. M6/ BARWOOD/ 1943" above the steel reinforcing plate. Blade is very good, with some bright spots from the sheath and mild spotting. The leather is good with some overall handling wear and darkening of the sheath.
