Made in Austria, this rifle has the standard markings of a Model 1952 rifle. Hooded front ramp sight with a folding two leaf rear sight. The floor plate and trigger guard are a French gray finish engraved with a moose on the floor plate and a deer on the trigger guard. Double set triggers, tang safety and a spoon handle bolt serrated on the bottom. The receiver is fixed with a Supra 4X18 scope on a quick release mount with leather lens covers. The checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock features tastefully well done scrimshawed ivory inlays of a buck flanked by oak leaves on the right and a moose and oak leaves on the right just under the action. The right side of the buttstock is inlayed with a large German eagle on the right and coat of arms on the left. The grip cap has the initials "L E S" in an ivory medallion at the center of the plastic grip cap. Finished with a leather sling and original rubber recoil pad.

Excellent. All metal surfaces retain 98% plus original blue finish showing only the slightest collector type handling marks. The lens cover has one of the pieces torn loose from the strap and part of the stitching is loose. The wood rates excellent with a few small pressure marks and scratches scattered. The eagle on the right side has a small age crack.
