This exceptional Mauser rifle was custom built and refurbished by Mark Lee and Joe J. Balickie. The action was reconfigured to left hand by Lee, a huge undertaking, and custom refinished and sporterized by Balickie. The rifle is fitted with a 22 1/2 inch round tapered barrel manufactured without sights and it is equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5 X 10 scope. The only visible marking on the gun is the serial number on the left side of the receiver ring. Jeweled bolt, tang safety, adjustable serrated trigger and it is mounted on one piece extra fancy English walnut pistol grip stock with finely checkered forearm and grip area with decorative border, metal grip cap, cheek piece, black rubber Decelerator recoil pad and brown leather sling on quick release sling swivels. A Lee and Balickie combination that is the best of the best, custom left hand Mauser 98 bolt action sporterized rifle .

Excellent as custom refinished and modified with 99% finish remaining. The stock is excellent with a series of tiny dings in front on the bolt handle, a few light scuffs on the left front, overall a few light handling marks and sharp checkering. The scope is near new with a couple of faint scuffs. The sling is excellent. Mechanically excellent. A super nice custom left hand Mauser 98 rifle by Lee and Balickie. See Rifle magazine #55 and # 88.
