Introduced in 2000 and made in Italy, this double barrel O/U shotgun is manufactured jointly by Sig and sold by/through L.L. Bean. The barrels, trigger guard are blue and the receiver is casehardened. The sides of the receiver are marked L.L. Bean (logo) in gold and the bottom is marked in script "New / Englander" in gold. It features a single brass bead sight on the matte vent rib, chambered for 3" shells with screw in chokes and auto ejectors. Gold washed single selective trigger and tang safety/selector. The checkered forearm and Prince of Wales-style pistol grip stock (round knob) are nicely figured select Turkish walnut with a solid black recoil pad.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% plus of the original blue/color casehardened finish with a small ding on the muzzle of the upper barrel and minor handling marks. The wood is as new.
