The rifle is marked with the Mauser banner over "1934" on top of the receiver ring, serial number and crown over "U", "N","B" and "G" proofs on the left side. Left side of the barrel marked with the serial number and left receiver wall marked "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF AN." The rear step of the barrel is marked "Ch45" and there are three "eagle/359" proof marks under the sight. The top of the bolt handle is marked with a crown over "B", and "U" proofmarks. All visible full or partial serial numbers match. Fixed front ramp sight and rear tangent sight graduated to 2,000 meters. The left side of the butt is stamped with a double circle with "D. R. / 2574" in the center followed by a "Z / 9" each in a 3/4 circle. The cleaning rod is missing.

Possibly arsenal refinished with nearly all current finish remaining. The barrel shows only minor handling marks. The top of the receiver exhibits some light spotting on the top. The wood is good with pressure marks and scratches scattered throughout.
