This is a mint condition Danish Madsen Model 47 rifle that was produced under contract for Columbia in the late 1950s. The top of the receiver is marked "FUERZAS ARMADAS / DE / COLUMBIA" and the side of the receiver is marked "MADSEN M.G/A" followed by the serial number and "Cal. 30". The rifle has a fully adjustable rear sight that has both elevation and windage adjustments, a hooded front sight and a 1 inch rubber recoil pad. It has a fixed magazine that extends below the stock for increased capacity. All metal surfaces are black painted with a parkerized bolt assembly. Complete with original M47 Danish bayonet and scabbard.

As new with 99% plus of original black painted and parkerized finish with only the slightest handling marks. The stock is also excellent with some minor scratches and nicks and a couple of gouges on the right side of the forearm.
