This is an excellent, like new example of a scarce, all original and unaltered Pre-Ban Belgium FNFAL Heavy barrel rifle as imported by Browning Arms of Morgan, Utah. These rifles were more desirable in that they have the larger heavy barrel that aids in stability when firing. This model was intended to fill the automatic rifleman position at the squad level in the Belgium Army. The right side of the receiver is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL/MADE IN BELGIUM/STEYR SECACUS N.J./GUN SOUTH INC. TRUSSVILLE AL.". The left side of the receiver is marked ".308 MATCH". These rifles have an adjustable gas port to control cyclic rate, with the military style tangent rear sight calibrated from 200-600 meters, carrying handle, large wooden forend to shield the hand from heat along with the black composite buttstock and pistol grip. It is complete with the original FNH barrel mounted folding bipod and one twenty shot magazine.

Excellent plus with 99.5% of the original FN black finish. The wooden forend and composite parts show no handling marks. The rifle looks to be unfired overall, just a super example of an early pre-ban rifle.
