This carbine has a total length of only 29.5 inches and features a parkerized barrel with flash suppressor, pinned front sight and folding peep rear with a one piece composite stock, rotating bolt, and a 30 round magazine. The left side is marked with the serial number, while the buttstock shows "FN HERSTAL BELGIUM FS2000 CAL. 5.56x45" over "FNH USA FREDERICKSBURG VA". The fire selector is located beneath the trigger for convenience, accessory rail above the receiver. The empty cases are ejected through a forward port. Complete with factory box numbered to the gun including cable lock, manual, and a small green canvas bag with cleaning tools.
