Description:

Issued by "The American Historical Foundation," this Thompson was produced to honor all of our Vietnam veterans. It features a blued ribbed barrel with gold plating on the muzzle compensator /front sight, cocking handle, trigger, and rear sight with a blued receiver that is gold filled and marked on the right side with "VIETNAM * WAR * COMMEMORATIVE * THOMPSON"/ "OURS WAS A NOBLE CAUSE" and on the left side "ISSUED BY THE/AMERICAN HISTORICAL FOUNDATION, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA" followed by two line address and patent dates all highlighted in gold. This "Tommy" gun sports a stick magazine and has a very nice walnut buttstock and horizontal forearm with commemorative medallions on both the pistol grip and the buttstock. This gun also comes with a leather sling and is encased in a hardwood box with glass lid, that has both a green velvet liner and a commemorative plaque.
