Manufactured from 1962 to 1970, this pistol is basically a hand held rocket launcher shooting a rocket cartridge that is composed of four-part solid rocket fuel. The nose of the round is forced rearward onto a stationary firing pin, igniting the fuel, expelling the round and recocking for the next shot. It has the standard Model B markings. Fitted with smooth silver-blue plastic grips. This pistol is furnished with a wooden case with a brass plate on the lid engraved "MBA / GYROJET ROCKET HANDGUN" and a box of 14 rounds. The red felt lined case includes an engraved oval medallion marked "M B A / MBA ASSOCIATES-SAN RAMON, CALIFORNIA" mounted on the inside lid, Robert Goddard medallion, ten dummy rounds and an Allen wrench. Complete with 4 owner manual pamphlets, photocopies of original proof of sale and other documents concerning the original owner, and internet history and correspondence concerning the Gyrojet.

Excellent with 90% original bright finish remaining with pin point pitting overall, and a mixture of black molted and smooth black patina on the trigger guard and toggle. The grips are excellent with only the slightest handling marks.
