Manufacturing began in 2001. Revolver features top break action, round blade front sight with V notch rear sight, color casehardened hammer, trigger, trigger guard, and latch. Remainder of metal is finished in a highly polished blue. Equipped with a six round fluted cylinder and smooth walnut grips with a cartouche reading "JFEC" found on the left grip. Complete with a S&W wood case marked "PERFORMANCE/CENTER" in a circle around the S&W logo with literature. Accompanying this revolver is leather holster rig marked "R.M. BACHMAN/ FLORENCE, MT". Hand tooled holster, belt has 32 cartridge sleeves. Also included are two RCBS reloading dies and approximately 575 Schofield cartridge cases.
