Good. The metal surfaces have a mottled brown patina with some small areas of minor pitting. The trigger guard and backstrap have an even aged mustard patina with strong traces of original silver plating in the protected areas of the trigger guard. The upper backstrap and rear trigger guard screws are replacements. The percussion nipples are replacements. The grip is good with a repaired minor crack on both upper sides, approximately half of the original varnish and some scattered minor dings and handling marks. The markings and cylinder scene are clear. The action is fine. Purchased in 1962 from Mr. Schufeldt and from the Will Hoffeld Collection.
