Blade front and notch rear sights with poly groove rifling. Absent of any visible identification marking. Scrolled engraved lock plate, hammer, upper tang and iron spur trigger guard. Ebony stock with checkered grip, scroll engraved flared butt with floral engraved iron grip cap, double set triggers and silver oval inlay on top of grip and diamond wedge plates.

Refinished with the barrel retaining an artificial brown patina, a smooth silver patina on the underside and limited pin prick pitting. The rest of the metal surfaces exhibit a smooth dark patina. The re-varnished wood is very good with a couple of minor hairline cracks on the left side near the breech, some minor nicks and some minor scratches. There are some minor nicks in the checkering that is beginning to wear smooth. The engraving is clear and crisp. The action functions well. From the Will Hoffeld Collection.

Small blade front and tang notch rear sights and smooth bore. The barrel is marked "LONDON" with the "L" missing and surrounded by fancy engraved lines on the top flat with a floral engraving and a gold band on the rear. Silver oval wedge plates, inlay on top of grip and nose cap. Fancy floral engraved side plate and iron trigger guard with very fine scrolled engraved hammer. Single lock screw. Walnut stock with heavy checkered rounded grip with set trigger that is pushed forward to set. Complete with wooden ramrod with metal cap.

Period refinished with the barrel exhibiting a smooth deep purple patina with the rest of the metal surfaces exhibiting a smooth dark patina. The engraving is clear and sharp. The moderately worn wood is good with some minor handling marks and a couple of minor gouges. The checkering is sharp. The action is fine.
