Description:

Patented abroad in 1882 by Jacques Edmond Turbiaux, the American patent would later be bought by the Chicago Fire Arms Company. Short barrel with no sights. A pair of finger rests protrude from the front of the frame, with a rubber panel around the model markings on the right side. The side plate is missing its panel and patent markings. Cylinder holds 10 rounds, and both it and the barrel are marked with London proofs. Side plate and cylinder are unnumbered.

Rating Definition:

Period refinished, with most of the heavily polished nickel, showing some mild subsurface pitting. With noted exception grips are fair, with minor handling marks. Action functions, but needs work.
