Description:

Two folding knives flank the fold up trigger. One blade is a 3-1/2 inch single edge and the other is a 3 inch single edge blade. The longer blade is marked " ???? / RODGERS / SHEFFIELD" on the left ricasso with "protector" acid etched on the left side. The octagon barrel is set atop the knife portion, with a post front sight, a pair of Birmingham proofs on the upper left flat, and a smooth hammer connected to a folding trigger, which folds into a brass housing. The butt of the gun has a small storage compartment for cap and balls ( 5 balls and 7 caps included) and stored inside the horn panels on the sides are a small bullet mold on the left, and a ram rod on the right side.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The silver has taken on an aged patina with a few minor dings on the barrel. The knives have a dark gray mottled patina with some minor pitting. The horn side panels are very good with some finish wear in the grip area and a few minor scratches and scuffs. The percussion nipple appears to be original to the gun and there is some minor pitting on the hammer. The action is excellent.
