Marked "C. LORENZ" in script on the engraved lock plate. There are 2 gold cartouches on the barrel, one "KL" and the other a triangle containing an eye. There is also a gold "C" and two dots towards the muzzle from these cartouches. "K: UO." is on the upper left flat of the barrel. There are silver bands at the front and rear of the barrel. The barrel tang is engraved with the number "1". The stock is relief carved with a floral design behind the barrel tang. The stock has panels of fine checkering on each side of the grip. There are ebony inlays around the bottom of the grip and silver mountings. The ramrod pipe finial, trigger guard, butt cap, side plate and hammer are decorated with deep, well executed scroll engraving.

Fine, with a fine twist pattern on the barrel and brown patina on the lock. Stock is fine, with the exception of a crack running across the forearm and some minor pressure dents. The ramrod is broken off inside the pipes, with a horn forearm tip. Silver is taking on an aged patina. Action is fine.
