HINE" marked on the back action lock and near the nipple.(reportedly Riley Hine, Croton, NY 1874-1882) Maple half stock with typical dueler grip, brass butt inlay, pewter forend cap and iron trigger guard. Complete with maple ramrod that extends about a 1/2 inch from the muzzle.

Good with the metal surfaces exhibiting a smooth silver patina with the hammer exhibiting a smooth dark patina mixed with the beginnings of a smooth silver patina. The grip has been repaired, otherwise the wood is very good with the grip and action area having a smooth dark aged patina and some minor nicks and scratches overall. Mechanically needs work.
