Description:

Produced between 1886 and 1913. Pinned blade front and latch notch rear sights, with the two line address and patent markings on the rib next to a single Maltese cross near the front sight. Hammer and trigger are casehardened, with a blue recurve trigger guard, 6-round cylinder with grooves and two sets of stops. Fitted with smooth mother of pearl grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, strongest on the barrel lug and the frame around the cylinder, with a mottled gray and brown patina on the right side of the frame, flat gray with brown spots on the grip straps, and mixed brown on the remainder, with some light handling marks and edge wear. Bright case colors are visible on the hammer and trigger. Grips are very good, with a few small chips. Mechanically fine.
