Approximately 7,000 manufactured between 1909 and 1929. The double action pistol has a blue finish with casehardened trigger and hammer. The barrel has a Partridge front sight and missing rear sight. The top of the barrel rib is marked: "SMITH & WESSON/ SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A." to the left of "MODEL OF 91" followed by patent dates. The left side of the barrel is marked: ".38. S. & W. CTG. " The left side of the frame is stamped "U.S.C.CO.403.T12.4.20" in front of the S&W monogram, and the right is zig zag engraved "FRANK. MYERS." Checkered hardwood grips with Smith & Wesson medallions on either side.

Fine, with 85% of finish remaining with majority of finish loss on the right side of the barrel. Widely scattered spots of rust, scratches and dents throughout from handling. Grips are good with minor chips at the base. The casehardening colors on the hammer and trigger are bright. The action is fine.
