Introduced in 1892 and discontinued in 1912. Single bead sight on a matte solid rib marked "HUNTER ARMS CO. FULTON NY". The Chainette Damascus barrels feature 2 1/2 inch chambers, choked full with ejectors. Casehardened light scroll engraved break lever and action with engraved side plates marked "L.C. SMITH" on both sides. The side plates feature a line and scroll engraved border with a quail on the left and a woodcock on the right. Line border and scroll engraved blue trigger guard. Round knob pistol grip stock with multi-point checkered forearm with ebony insert and grip area, double triggers, tang safety and fitted with a hard rubber serrated buttplate.

Excellent. The barrels retain virtually all of the Damascus Chain pattern and brown finish with light muzzle wear and a patch of smooth gray patina under the forearm and some minor scratches. The trigger guard retains approximately 90% of the current blue finish mixed with a smooth gray patina. The action retains approximately 90% of the case color. The wood is very good with some minor dings, dents, chips and scratches. There is a moderate gouge near the triggers. There are a few minor nicks in the overall sharp checkering. The markings and engraving are clear and crisp.
