NID renewed in 1999: The barrels are marked by Armi Beschi of Gardone V.T. Italy. Concaved matted solid rib with a brass front bead. Choked improved modified/improved modified, 2 3/4 inch chambers, with ejectors. Casehardened box lock action with scroll engraving featuring a field scene of a mallard drake duck on the left side and a rooster pheasant on the right side. The scroll work is also featured on the blued trigger guard. Pistol grip stock with checkered fleur-de-lis pattern forearm with ebony insert and grip area, gold washed double triggers, plastic grip cap, tang safety and unmarked solid rubber recoil pad.

Excellent plus. The shotgun retains virtually all of the original blue finish with some light handling marks. The frame retains 98% of the case color mixed with some smooth gray patina. The stock is also excellent with a few light scratches and a mild ding on top of the buttstock. The checkering is sharp. The markings and engraving are clear and crisp.
