Manufactured in Germany, this shotgun features blue barrels, break lever and trigger guard and silver gray receiver and forearm hardware. Side lock action, Greener Cross Bolt with double under barrel locking lugs, double triggers, automatic tang mounted sliding safety and Holland & Holland ejectors. The receiver is deep relief engraved with six ducks in a marsh scene on the right side plate, a dog flushing pheasants in a field scene on the left side plate, scroll patterns on the sides, bottom and trigger guard and simple pattern and zigzag border on the forearm hardware. The lower left rear of the receiver is signed "GR" for master engraver Gunter Richter. Single brass bead on the solid matte rib marked "NO. 26 of 100" at the breech end. 3" chambers and choked modified/full. Mounted with Luxury Grade oil finished highly figured English walnut and Merkel plastic buttplate. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun and papers, and a locking takedown hard case with green canvas exterior with leather corner protectors and green felt lining with a leather Merkel label affixed to the inside of the lid.

New in the box with some light handling marks. The frame has some mild scratches. The wood is excellent with some light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. The case is very good with the interior lid insert detached but included.
