Manufactured in Germany, this shotgun features Vintager Cup Special engraving by Merkel master engraver Burkhatd Hafner. The barrels, trigger guard and break lever are blue and the remaining metal is silver gray. The action, side plates, trigger guard, tang, break lever and forearm latch and hardware feature beautiful relief floral rose engraving. There is a wedge of the same pattern on the breech end sides of the barrels and is signed "BH" (Burkhatd Hafner) near the trigger. The bottom of the receiver is marked "GEBR. MERKEL SUHL" in a banner, the left barrel is marked "GSI Inc. Tville AL / GEBR. MERKEL SUHL / MADE IN GERMANY" and the right side is marked "Krupp Stahl". Single brass bead sight on the matte solid rib marked "360 EL 410 GA" at the breech. Choked full/modified, 3 inch chambers with auto ejectors. Box lock action with Greener Cross Bolt, double under lugs, tang safety, double triggers and mounted with Luxury Grade English walnut forearm and straight grip (English) stock with checkering and a plastic Merkel buttplate. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun and papers, and a locking takedown hard case with pebble grain leather exterior with leather corner and edge protectors, and hunter green velvet lining with a leather Merkel label affixed to the inside of the lid.

Near new with limited handling marks. The frame has a couple of minor scratches. The wood is excellent with a small chip near the upper tang and limited handing marks. The checkering is sharp. The box and case are excellent.
