Manufactured from 1883 to 1909. Single nickel bead on the matte rib, which is marked "-REMINGTON ARMS CO.-/ -ILLION, N.Y. U.S.A.-" at the breech. Casehardened frame and lock plates, with "REMINGTON ARMS CO." on both sides, double triggers and checkered hammer spurs. Checkered knob grip stock with a horn tip insert in the forearm and a checkered Remington butt.

Good. 50% of the original blue remains on the barrels, with a mixed gray and brown patina forming on the sides of the barrels, scratching on the right, a smooth gray patina on the muzzles, scattered light pin prick pitting and mild handling marks and dings overall. Frame is very good, with a silver patina forming and bright, vivid colors in the protected areas, particularly under the lever. Stock is good, with a crack in the forearm, some chipping and scattered pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
