Single bead sight on the matte solid rib, with the left barrel marked "BEN EDWARDS" and the right "NEWTON St. BIRMINGHAM" with light engraved bands at the breech and engraving on the rear of the rib. Muzzles measure at cylinder choke. A pair of "crown/ V" proofs are visible on the water table, and "crown/ V" and "crown/ GP" on the undersides of the chambers. Engraved screws on the frame and lock plates, with a floral pattern around the barrel hinge, starburst patterns on the underside and barrel lugs, and light border engraving on the tangs and lock plates. Checkered knob grip stock with engraved screws, splinter forearm, "150" stamped behind the knob and lightly engraved flat buttplate.

Good, with a brown patina on the refinished barrels, dark overall with a few lighter areas, minor dings on the muzzle and roughly 30% of the blue in the protected areas. A bright silver patina has formed on the frame and locks, with a brown color in the protected areas around the lever and trigger guard and some pitting on the lower tang. Stock is very good, with some mild pressure dents, light varnish loss, and excellent grain. Mechanically fine.
