Manufactured in 1949. Standard Model 97 takedown slide action shotgun. Single bead front sight on a barrel with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, choked full. Mounted with a plain pistol grip stock with 18 groove slide handle and checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. Matching serial number on barrel and receiver.

Excellent plus. The shotgun retains approximately 98-99% of the original blue finish with some minor slide wear and gray patina forming on the high edges, with smooth gray patina on the inside of the trigger guard. There are a few minor scratches and dings. The wood is excellent plus with some minor scratches and a few minor dings. The markings are crisp.
