Manufactured in 1955. Standard length barrel chambered for the rare .358 Winchester and manufactured without sights (both special order features). The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Standard markings with single Winchester proofs on the left side of the barrel and receiver. One-piece pistol grip stock with checkered grip area and forearm, sling swivels, hinged floor plate and checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent with virtually all of the original blue finish remaining with only the slightest handling marks. The stock is excellent with the slightest handling marks. The checkering is sharp. A very nice Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 rifle in the very rare 358 Winchester caliber.
