Description:

Blade and notch sights, with "J. BANDLE/ 2602 MAIN ST. CIN. O." on the top flat and the one line "PAT. JUL. 25.71" marking on the upper left. Unmarked action, with double set triggers and the extension arm running into the right barrel flat. Loading cutout on underside. Checkered straight grip stock with carved Schnabel tip, decorative edging around the barrel, hand rest trigger guard, silver squirrel on the right side, star on the left, and a curved brass butt.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with half of the original dark blue finish, showing a few areas of brown patina overall, along with some mild handling marks and fading along the edges. Tool marks are visible around the pin set into the barrel, and the upper tang and lock plate show a yellow color (cocking lever is missing). Stock is good, with cracking on either side ahead of the wrist, mixed patina on the trigger guard, pressure dents and some light scratches.
