Description:

The top barrel flat is marked "WM R MARSTON (double stamped) MAKER TORONTO". The top barrel is 41 caliber and the bottom is 60. Dovetailed brass blade front and elevator adjustable rear sights (elevator missing). Wooden ramrod on the right side of the barrel with three iron tubes, single trigger, decorative brass trigger guard and mounted with a checkered straight grip stock with a cheekpiece with small brass elk inlay, round patch box and long tanged brass buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Good. The metal surfaces have a dark patina with minor spotting and pitting. The brass has a dark aged patina. The stock is about good with a few minor age cracks on the right side, some heavy checkering wear and overall scattered minor dings and dents. The left hammer does not always function properly, the right side functions well.
