This is an excellent, example of a near new early Colt Third Generation Single Action Army revolver in the desirable 357 Magnum. This model has the "SA" prefix that denotes it as a third generation model. These SAAs made during this time period have an unusually vivid color casehardened finish that is very complimentary to the dark blued finish. This pistol is marked on top with the standard single line markings and the side of the frame has the Colt two line patent dates with the Rampant Colt directly behind that. The side of the barrel is marked with the single line markings and "357 MAGNUM". It has the single serial number on the frame with Colt "VP" proof on sides of trigger guard. It has the black plastic Colt eagle grips.

Near new, with 99% of the original blued finish with just a hint of a very slight, but noticeable drag line on the cylinder. It retains 99% of the original deep vivid color case finish on the frame and loading gate.
