Manufactured in 1996, this factory engraved, Custom Shop Single Action Army revolver features Class "C" American style scroll and geometric pattern engraving. The engraving covers the barrel, cylinder flats, frame, hammer sides, trigger guard, front sight sides and backstrap. The revolver is finished in nickel with bright fire blue screws, cylinder pin and ejector rod head. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address and the left side is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent date marking. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt triangle "VP" proof and the rear is marked with a "B". Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights and fitted with two-piece black checkered Rampant Colt American Eagle relief grips. The accompanying factory letter verifies the serial number, caliber, barrel length, finish "Nickel/Fire Blue", grips, factory engraving and that it was shipped on Custom Shop Order # 4988 as 1 gun to Armsmear II, Anaheim, California on March 4, 1996. Also complete with the original blue two-piece box and white outer box with Colt Custom Shop label indicating custom features and numbered to the gun.
