Very nice example of a Colt Third Generation Single Action Army revolver that has been highly embellished with non-factory single gold inlays that out the border of the frame and trigger guard with the rear of the cylinder, the muzzle and front end of the ejector housing all having double gold bands with the rear of the barrel and ejector housing having triple barrel bands. The revolver has standard barrel markings and the smokeless powder frame has the two line patent dates with the Rampant Colt on the left side. The revolver has a very nicely done high polish blued finish along with a slight star marking pattern on top of the screw heads. It is fitted with a two-piece set of ivory grips with gold colt medallions at the top of each grip. It has matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard, backstrap and cylinder. It is stored in a walnut French fitted presentation case with a turquoise lining.

Excellent, with 99% of the professionally applied blue finish with the gold bands. The storage case is in as new condition. An exceptionally well done Gold embellished Colt SAA revolver.
