Manufactured in 1903. Early style front checkered slide marked with the three line patent dates followed by the two line Colt Hartford address and circled Rampant Colt. Early casehardened rounded hammer spur, niter blue trigger, frame lanyard ring and checkered grips with "COLT" banners at the top and Rampant Colt logos in the center. The included Colt factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length and finish, with the type of stocks not listed. The letter states that the pistol was shipped to Colt's London Agency on 13 February 1903.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus. The pistol retains approximately 20% of the original blue finish in the protected areas with a smooth gray patina on the exposed surfaces. There is some pin point pitting. The grips are fine with some minor nicks and some light scratches. The checkering is sharp. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
