Manufactured in 1889 with standard blade front and "U" notch rear sights. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line Colt Hartford address/patent dates (1884 and 1888). The number "50" is marked on the frame, crane, rear face of the cylinder and underside of the barrel. The butt is unmarked. There is a single five-pointed star on the crane and single five-point stars with the letter "P" on the rear of the cylinder and underside of the barrel, indicating some type of factory rework. An additional five-pointed star is marked on the rear of the left side of the frame. Fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Factory refinished to near excellent, with slight edge and muzzle wear and is heavily scratched on the frame. The butt marking has been filed off prior to refinish. There is a smooth gray patina on the grip straps and limited pin prick pitting on the front of the frame. The grips are very good with some minor handling marks.
