Description:

Produced in 1943. Two line, two block address and patent markings on the left side of the matching serialized slide, divided by the Rampant Colt logo. Frame is marked "G.H.D." and "P" on the left and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY M1911A1 U.S.ARMY" on the right, above the serial number. Colt's "VP" proof is visible on the trigger guard. Wide hammer spur, thumb safety, slide stop, machined trigger and arched mainspring housing are all checkered. Fitted with a Colt barrel and checkered plastic grips with reinforcing ribs and rings. With an unmarked full blue magazine.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with approximately 97% of the original parkerized finish, showing spots of bright gray patina along the high edges, in two thin patches on the left side of the slide, and in a triangular section on the front left of the frame, along with some mild handing marks and a few dark spots on the muzzle and bushing. Grips are excellent, with minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
