Description:

Early WW II M1 carbine produced by the Saginaw Company. Blade front and adjustable aperture rear sights, marked "N" and "H" respectively, with a "KV S'G'" Type I barrel band/sling swivel, Saginaw receiver, flat bolt, "SG" marked slide, trigger housing and hammer, "SG" push button safety, "E-S'G'" magazine and magazine catch. It has a late 4-rivet unmarked handguard and a "SA" marked M2 stock, marked "+" and "X" on the wrist, "3533010" marked behind the sling cut-out, green canvas sling and a checkered metal butt. With a Civilian Marksmanship Program Certificate of Authenticity, manual, shipping box and a correct two leaf rear sight marked "S" and "RG-S'G'".

Rating Definition:

Excellent as assembled, with 98% of the dark green GI parkerization finish, showing some mild handling marks. Stock is very good as repaired, with a small wood plug on the left side ahead of the wrist with scratches and pressure dents. Mechanically very good.
