Description:

1) 22" x 28" dated 1943 poster with a colorful graphic design featuring dropping parachutes with soldiers and a crate of food supplies. "Where our men are fighting / OUR FOOD IS FIGHTING" in the middle, "BUY WISELY--COOK CAREFULLY--STORE CAREFULLY--USE LEFTOVERS" at the bottom, with the U.S. Government Printing Office marking on the bottom border. 2) 20" x 28" dated 1943 poster with a graphic design showing a woman's hand pouring waste oil from a skillet, which turns into the exploding flame of a group of bombs. "Save waste fats for explosives" near the top, "TAKE THEM TO YOUR MEAT DEALER" at the bottom, with the U.S. Government Printing Office marking on the bottom border. 3) 20" x 28" poster featuring a back and white with red tone graphic of a home and a message from the U.S. Office of War Information explaining how to keep warm with less fuel for the up coming winter.

Rating Definition:

All posters are very fine. Each poster is folded with strong fold lines and a few mild tears in the fold lines. The edges are mostly sharp with a few bent corners and some minor tears in the borders. The colors are vivid and bright.
