Description:

Approximately 20,000 of these rifles were manufactured between 1924 and 1933. The M1 is similar to the 1922 with the single point striker system and detachable magazine that does not protrude from the bottom of the stock and the upgraded M2 bolt.. The receiver ring has the standard M1 marking with the additional "I" and letter B suffix on the serial number. The barrel is marked "SA / ordnance bomb / 12-35". It has the standard 1903 style blade front sight with a push on sight cover and the military 48C target rear sight, adjustable for windage and elevation. Smooth pistol grip stock with finger grove forearm, checkered steel buttplate and boxed "SA" cartouche marked buttstock. Complete with green canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refinished, with the rifle retaining approximately 99% of the parkerized finish. There are some minor scratches and gray patina on some of the high edges. The stock is excellent with some minor handling marks and scratches. The markings are sharp.
