Description:

Manufactured circa 1871 to 1890 with a total quantity estimated at 2,000 it is one of the smallest American derringer made. This model is commonly referred to as the "Baby" or "Pee Wee" model. Barrel pivots sideways to load and is marked "FOREHAND & WADSWORTH / WORCESTER, MASS." on the top flat. Manufactured without sights. Checkered spur trigger and hammer and walnut bird head grips marked "141" on the back.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with approximately 90% of the original nickel finish with some minor flaking mostly near the muzzle and at the breech. There is a large chip on the left grip panel, otherwise the grips are very good with some minor scratches and minor cracking in the varnish. There is limited varnish flaking. The barrel does not lock. The marking is legible.
