Manufactured 1868 - 1882. Groove sight, with "MY FRIEND PAT'D DEC 26, 1865" on the top strap and a cylinder catch on the underside of the frame. Niter blue cylinder and small parts, with scroll and punch dot engraving on the brass frame. Solid grip, with checkered blackstrap and finger hole.

Professionally refinished, with 95% of the niter blue remaining on the cylinder, hammer, trigger and pin. The frame has been polished and subsequently aged back to a pleasing "mustard yellow" tone with traces of silver remaining in the protected areas. The action is fine.
