Description:

Manufactured from 1863 to 1867. Two line New Haven address marked on top of the barrel that is manufactured without a front sight and engraved with a set of intersecting curved lines. A similar pattern is present on the backstrap, with a scroll and punch-dot pattern on the sides of the frame and breech, punch-dot borders, and zigzag patterns on the muzzle end of the barrel. Grips are smooth, with a birds head butt.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with approximately 60-70% of the nickel finish, showing a dark brown patina on the barrel, a ding on the muzzle, and some light edge wear and handling marks overall. Grips are very good, with exception of a crack in the butt, light scratching, and minimal varnish loss. Action is very good.
