Blade and frame notch sights, with the patent date on the left side of the barrel and "UNION JACK No. 3" on top, flanked by wavy line borders. Scroll and punch dot engraving present on the sides of the frame, and zig-zags and punch dots on the top strap, cylinder, and backstrap. Smooth rosewood grips with a bird's head butt.

Excellent, with 90% of the original nickel finish, showing a few light handling marks and spotting overall, with a small patch of pitting on the left side of the front strap and a few areas of bright gray patina on the high edges. Grips are fine, slightly undersized left panel, with attractive color and grain. Mechanically fine.
