Manufactured by Hopkins and Allen of Norwich, Connecticut circa 1870s to 1890. Unmarked by Hopkins & Allen, the only markings are "POINTER" on top of the barrel and the serial number on the bottom of the barrel and on frame. Chambered for the 22 caliber rimfire cartridge, the barrel pivots sideways for loading, fixed sights on the barrel, spur trigger, brass frame. All nickel finish.

Very fine with approximately 95% of the original nickel finish remaining with some moderate flaking. There is some smooth brass patina on the frame high edges and fine surfaces scratches overall. The period replacement grips are excellent with some minor scratches. The grips are slightly undersized. The markings show limited fading.
