Manufactured between 1870 and 1875. Fixed sights and standard one line address, and "*C.K.*" on top of the barrel. Checkered hammer, spur trigger and smooth bird head grips with the left panel numbered to gun.

Excellent, with 98% of the original nickel finish, showing a few light scratches overall and a small amount of exposed brass, concentrated on the edges and in a patch on the right side of the frame. Action needs adjustment. Grips are very good, with 98% varnish remaining and minor scuffs.

Barrel made in 1874, frame in 1875. Blade front and hammer notch rear sights on barrel group numbered "11463". Two line Colt Hartford address on top of barrel flanked by Maltese crosses and "22 CAL" marked on the left side of the frame. Zigzag/scroll engraving on the frame and backstrap. Smooth ivory grips with a bird's head butt.

Good as assembled and custom engraved, with a bright polished finish on the barrel, 60% of the blue on the cylinder, and 95% of the silver frame finish. Minor pitting is visible on the cylinder, with visible patented brass on the edges and corners of the frame. Action is good. Grips are very good, with an age crack in the right panel and a mellow aged patina.
